Comedy in Chicago Starring Chelsea Handler

Chelsea Handler's benefit performance for the Reeve Foundation's Chicago Chapter was a sellout success! Over 600 attendees filled Chicago House of Blues® on Sunday, October 26, 2008 for this special evening of comedy and community. The Chicago Chapter also honored Dr. Jack Kessler with the 2008 Visionary Leadership Award.

Chelsea's devoted fans, and the Chicago chapter's equally devoted event committee, helped to raise $270,000 --  and counting -- through sponsorships, ticket sales, journal ads, silent auction prizes, and outright donations. These funds will support the Reeve Foundation's research and quality of life programs on behalf of individuals living with paralysis.

Thanks to Chelsea, her fans, the event committee and all our supporters who turned out in full force in support of this incredible occasion.
