What is it? Sixteen straight hours of intense social media outreach to raise money to promote care and cures for those living with spinal cord injury.
When is it? September, during Spinal Cord Injury awareness month!
TODAY, from 8:00 A.M. to 11:59 P.M. ET (Tuesday, September 20, 2011) the Reeve Foundation, its ambassadors, and all of its social media friends will be posting and tweeting messages about the Foundation, its work, and what's going on in the paralysis community.
What's the goal? To raise awareness among the social media crowd to the fact that we cannot support the research without donations and motivate social media followers to make a gift to help find cures.
We are asking people to give a dollar for every year that they have been walking.
It's easy to use your social media power to support our social mediathon.
"Like" us on Facebook: facebook.com/reevefoundation - and tag (using the "@" symbol before our name - @Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation - in your Facebook posts.
Then just post one or more messages on your social media page(s) throughout the day today.
