Metro Health Hospital Foundation
Wyoming, MI

This grant will help to support the Assisted Breathing Center Quality of Life Project.  The Assisted Breathing Center (ABC) provides comprehensive care to ventilator-dependent individuals and is committed to helping patients reach their fullest potential.  The ABC Quality of Life Project provides patients with opportunities to participate in therapeutic community outings designed to help them live their lives to the fullest.  Specifically, grant funds will help to underwrite the installation of 8 electrical outlets at Frog Hollow Able-to-Play universally-accessible park (for able-bodied and disabled individuals).  The outlets will enable ABC patients to use their portable ventilators during outdoor visits to the park on a weekly basis.  This grant was funded by a generous financial donation from ICAP, the world's leading interdealer broker.
