This grant will help to support the upgrade of the On the Road Again adapted driving program, which focuses on people recovering from spinal cord injury and other physical conditions to enable them to become more independent by teaching and equipping them to drive safely to work, school, social and recreational events. The funds will help to underwrite the cost to purchase an interactive driving simulator with a single driving display and 45 degree driver field of view, with full size driving controls and STISIM Drive simulation software. This grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Award #1U59DD000338).
