Quality of Life Grants: 1st Cycle 2009: Actively Achieving

Sandpoint Parks and Recreation Department
Sandpoint, ID

This grant will help to fund Project Everyone Play, which will provide adaptive swingsets at this universally accessible playground. The closest accessible playground in Idaho is in the city of Meridian, which is 400 miles south. Grant funds will help to underwrite the costs of one adaptive swing, swing frames, and poured-in-place rubber surface. This grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Award #1U59DD000338).
