Quality of Life Grants: 1st Cycle 2009: Actively Achieving
SpiritHorse Therapeutic Riding Center
This grant will help to fund therapeutic riding services for children and adults with paralysis at the only center in America that provides all private therapeutic horseback riding services free-of-charge to people with disabilities, children who are victims of abuse, at-risk youth, youth after drug-rehab, and battered women. Grant funds will support programmatic expenses. This grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Award #1U59DD000338).
