This grant will help to fund Healing Outdoor Adventures for Veterans and Their Families, a program designed to help disabled veterans and their families participate in inclusive outdoor adventures. This is a cooperative project of Wilderness Inquiry, the Military Officers Association of America, the State of Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, and other veterans organizations. Grant funds will support programmatic expenses to enable participation by American service men and women who became spinal cord injured during their service in Iraq or Afghanistan and their families. This grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Award #1U59DD000338).
