4 Paws for Ability, Inc. Military/Veterans
This Quality of Life grant will support a project targeted specifically at United States service men and women returning wounded from duty in Iraq or Afghanistan that have sustained mobility impairments, including spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury and limb loss. The project will help to match specially trained service dogs with wounded service men and women with paralysis. Grant funds will support programmatic costs. This grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Award # 1U59DD000338).
