Quality of Life Grants: 2nd Cycle 2010: Actively Achieving

Kenton Action Plan:
Harper’s Playground Project
c/o North Portland Community Works
Portland, OR

This Quality of Life grant will help to support Harper's Playground, a project that will start with a single totally accessible neighborhood park. Future plans include making many more accessible neighborhood parks and collaborations with local schools to create accessible playgrounds for school children. Grant funds will help to support programmatic expenses for the ramp and deck-to-deck structures. This grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Award # 1U59DD000338).
