National Multiple Sclerosis Society,
Southern California Chapter
Los Angeles, CA
This Quality of Life grant will help to support Optimal Wellness Programs for Individuals Living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). This initiative broadens the reach of two tested and successful MS-specific wellness programs developed in Los Angeles by delivering their replicable program models in conjunction with local community partners. In 2011, programs will roll-out to six new southern California sites in cities including Pasadena, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, San Luis Obispo, Riverside, and Palm Desert. Grant funds will help to support programmatic expenses for one session. This grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Award # 1U59DD000338).
