Quality of Life Grants: 2nd Cycle 2010: Actively Achieving

United States Adaptive Recreation Center
Big Bear Lake, CA

This Quality of Life grant will help to support the Adaptive Equipment and Therapeutic Recreation program. Grant funds will help to underwrite the purchase and maintenance of programmatic equipment, including a mono-ski, bi-ski, kayak, fishing, sailing and water ski equipment for use by people with paralysis. Grant funds will also help to support programmatic scholarships. This grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Award # 1U59DD000338).
