Quality of Life Grants: 2nd Cycle 2010: Caring and Coping

This Quality of Life grant will help to support the Stepping Forward Staying Informed Consumer Education Program. This two-pronged education program consists, of an annual one-day consumer research conference, and a bi-monthly evening lecture series. The program targets individuals living with spinal cord injury and their family members, as well as healthcare professionals working in the field of spinal cord injury. The conference and lectures host experts in the field of research and treatment of spinal cord injury, presenting their work in layman's terms. Grant funds will support programmatic expenses. This grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Award # 1U59DD000338).
