Quality of Life Grants: 2nd Cycle 2010: Bridging Barriers

This Quality of Life grant will support an accessibility project to build a platform deck to widen the entry of the old building to connect to the new building to allow for the installation of an Acme Screw drive Vertical Platform Lift. The platform lift will make the entire Argyle Historical Society building—old and new—accessible to all visitors and volunteers. Grant funds will support programmatic expenses. This grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Award # 1U59DD000338).
