New England Disabled Sports
Lincoln, NH

This grant will help to support the New England Disabled Sports Fishing Program. Specifically, The NE Disabled Sports Fishing program will provide a safe environment for Veterans with paralysis to fish off-shore from an adapted boat, using equipment designed to allow individuals the maximum amount of independence. Grant funds will help to underwrite the purchase of two Lindgren and Pitman S-1200 Electric Reel. This equipment, which will remain the property of the program, is essential for individuals with paralysis to reel in and “land” their own fish.
