Quality of Life Grants: 1st Cycle 2011: Caring and Coping

A Sanctuary For Military Families
A Project Sanctuary

Parker, CO

This grant will help to support Project Sanctuary, which will offer injured United States military and veterans and their families a retreat for reconnection and healing along with necessary tools to better equip them to deal with not only the physical but the mental wounds of war. It is essential that the spouse and children be a part of this retreat so that the family can heal together. Grant funds will help to support programmatic expenses. This grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Award # 1U59DD000338.)
