This grant will help to support a project to create two Assistive Technology Stations to enable children and teens that have lost mobility due to spinal cord injury and other conditions to receive training on assistive computer technology that they may use to best adjust to their school and home environments once they leave the hospital. Grant funds will help to underwrite the purchase of programmatic equipment. This grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Award #1U59DD000838-01).
