Consortium Advisory Panel

The Consortium Advisory Panel is appointed by the Reeve Foundation and reports to the Research Planning Committee of the Board.  Members provide critique and commentary on the International Research Consortium on Spinal Cord Injury objectives, research plans and accomplishments.

They help set direction and goals for the network, particularly in response to progress made or scientific problems that have arisen; and they offer guidance in those instances where Consortium investigators grapple with scientific conundrums.  Importantly, all members are practicing clinicians (neurologists and neurosurgeons), as well as basic scientists, so they bring a crucial "real life" perspective to the discussions and research within the Consortium.
