Seattle, Denver, Chicago Among Top 20 Most Livable U.S. Cities for Wheelchair Users
Short Hills, N.J. - (July 23, 2010) Seattle, Denver and Chicago are some of America's Top 20 most livable cities for people living with paralysis, rated by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. The Reeve Foundation commissioned the list in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA was passed by Congress on July 26, 1990, to protect against discrimination based on disability.

Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation awards 89 Non-profit Organizations with Quality of Life Grants
Short Hills, N.J. - (July 13, 2010) The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation have awarded over $500,000 in Quality of Life grants to 89 non-profit organizations. The Reeve Foundation's Quality of Life Grants program was developed in 1999 by the late Dana Reeve in order to support innovative services and programs to individuals living with paralysis. Since the program's inception, the Reeve Foundation has funded over $13 million to more than 1,700 non-profit organizations that provide services and programs to individuals living with paralysis.
