Our 65 Team Reeve athletes raised almost $400,000 at the 2010 ING New York City Marathon. The day began around 6 a.m. with the Team riding our charter bus to the Charity Village for the start on the Verrazano Bridge. Think all power wheelchairs are the same? Environmental Traveling Companions (ETC) opens the beauty and challenge of outdoor adventures to people with special needs. Every year over 2,000 people of all abilities join them for whitewater rafting, cross country skiing and sea kayaking. Dr. Spine explains the importance of coughing for the health of paraplegics and even more importantly for quads.
