When Julie Neustadt became paralyzed eight years ago as a result of a swimming accident, the Reeve Foundation was a source of knowledge, support and community. The Neustadt Family and Neuco, Inc. champion the Reeve Foundation’s mission of providing "Today's Care, Tomorrow's Cure" by remaining active members of Team Reeve Chicago, supporting various fundraising and awareness endeavors in the community including this signature, annual event. Dr. Daniel Ivankovich, a Chicago resident since the age of three, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeon and spine specialist who attended top post-grad fellowship programs at RUSH (Adult Joint Reconstruction), Northwestern (Adult Spine Trauma) & Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (Spinal Cord Injury). After seeing patients unable to get basic health care services, Ivankovich established orthopedic outreach and patient education programs at virtually all of Chicago's safety-net hospitals. He co-founded OnePatient Global Health Initiative a Nonprofit organization committed to providing resources for accessible healthcare in underserved populations, without discrimination and regardless of ability to pay. He's seen over a hundred thousand patients, performed over five thousand surgeries and does this all in some of the most disparate areas within the country. |

Neuco, Inc. originally started as Neustadt Fuel and Supply over 100 years ago. The family owned company survived the Great Depression and World War II through constant innovation, eventually evolving to become a leading distributor in HVACR controls. Putting employees first and giving back to the community is known as "the Neuco Difference" and is a cornerstone principle of this Chicagoland company.
