The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation is searching for the 2013 Best Dad on Wheels.

Every father is special. But does your dad, or another dad you know, who is living with paralysis, demonstrate such important attributes as dedication, love, encouragement, and goodwill on a regular basis? If so, he could be the 2013 Best Dad on Wheels!

Simply tell us in 200 words or less how the dad that is special to you has changed your life, your family's life, or your community. Include a photo of your nominee.

He does not have to be your dad, but he does have to be a dad whether he is a biological, adoptive or foster father.

The nominated father must be living with paralysis.

The Reeve Foundation reserves the right to edit and publish your submission including the photo. We regret that we are unable to return or acknowledge submissions. Nominees and the people who make the nominations are subject to the Official Rules.

At stake is a a $500 gift card from Tilt-A-Rack®, producer of Mobility hitch mounted Aluminum Carriers to make the transportation of wheelchairs, and electric mobility scooters eliminating the need for trailers, and bragging rights!

Nominations are open through midnight ET, June 17, 2013. Ten semi-finalists will be selected by a panel of judges. The top 10 will have their stories and photos posted online from June 20, 2013 through July 7, 2013. The winner will be determined by an online poll during this time.
