Apple iPhone and iPad
The newest feature for the Apple iPhone has made their device more accessible. Siri, now standard on the iPhone 4S is described as an "intelligent personal assistant," eliminates the struggles that may come along with a touch screen device. Siri understands what you say, knows what you mean, and literally acts as your personal assistant. You can program your contacts to have relationships such as "wife" or "grandma", so you can later tell Siri to "text my wife I will be 15 minutes late to dinner," and avoid the sticky situation when your wife asks why you never called. Siri understands English, German, and French, with more languages still to come from Apple.

Android
The Android market launched their devices with a large collection of accessible features available for users. Their easy-to-use track balls and D-pads have a wide range of movement, eliminating some of the difficulties that come along with a touch screen device. Most Android devices are also equipped with the TalkBack app, which is the Android Accessibility Service to help individuals with disabilities use their device easier by speaking out loud as you navigate through the apps.

BlackBerry
Features such as the T9 Predictive Text, automatic redial, and the nonslip surfaces make Blackberry an accessible, easy-to-use phone. The built-in-speakerphone makes having a conversation easier if gripping the phone may be difficult. For some of Blackberry's newer designs, the SurePress Touch Screen makes using a touch screen easier with its smooth surface that lights up the content you intend on pushing before you press down.
