Galli started the event as a way to involve the theatre community so beloved by Christopher and Dana Reeve

Born for Broadway, in support of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, is proud to announce its second annual cabaret will be held Monday, October 4 at 8 p.m. at New World Stages, 340 W. 50th Street, New York, N.Y.

Once again helmed by Director Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Tony nominee, "Ragtime") and Music Director Larry Yurman ("Grey Gardens"), Born for Broadway features established Broadway performers as well as undiscovered talent.

This year promises an exciting evening filled with performances by Lesley Gore, Lillias White, and several members of the recent "Ragtime" revival -- Christiane Noll, Bobby Steggert, Robert Petkoff and Quentin Earl Darrington. A full cast announcement will be made soon.

The 2009 event included performers ranging from Tony Awarded/Nominated to exciting newcomers, and played to a sold out crowd of 500 patrons.

Special thanks to our many friends and sponsors whose generosity of time and resources make Born for Broadway 2010 possible, especially Brad Falchuk and Suzanne Bukinik, and Joe Patane and The Patane Foundation. Falchuk is the executive producer of the hit Fox television show "Glee," which features a character with a spinal cord injury. Patane creates ‘Dream Camps’ nationally to inspire and encourage challenged teens.
