3rd Annual Mike Nichols Charity Hockey Game
Posted by Reeve Staff in Daily Dose on March 23, 2017 # Events
When WFAN’s Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton first approached Mike Nichols, a Reeve Foundation ambassador, about hosting a charity hockey game, we could have never predicted we would sell out two years in a row. Not only did your support fill the arena each time, it also raised close to $120,000 to advance spinal cord research.
While the Middletown Sports Complex has been a great partner and friend, it quickly became clear that we needed room to grow in a new home. We are so excited to share that the Third Annual Mike Nichols Charity Hockey Game will be hosted at the Prudential Center on Friday, April 21!
Proceeds from the all-star game will once again benefit the Nichols Family Trust and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
Tickets are selling fast and even though we are moving to a bigger venue, we want to make sure you are there to cheer on Boomer and Carton, as well as former NHL players including ex- Rangers Tom Laidlaw, Tie Domi and Brad Richards, former Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro, and Devils great Ken Daneyko.
If you are unable to attend, please consider making a donation to the Reeve Foundation. Every dollar raised moves us closer to our ultimate goal and Mike Nichols dream -- cures for spinal cord injury.
Hope to see you at the Prudential Center on April 21.
Game on!
