A Father's Day message from the Reeve Foundation

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation would like to wish all fathers the very best on Father's Day. Make sure you take the time this weekend to honor your dad, uncle, brother, or grandfather for all that they do for their families and loved ones.

Through our wealth of resources and programs, the Reeve Foundation aims to be a source of comfort and strength for all families impacted by paralysis, including fathers like Scott Chesney, an active community ambassador and longtime supporter.

My dreams are to maximize each one of the titles (father, husband, son, brother, uncle, friend, speaker, coach, spokesman, and ambassador) that I hold in life, whether it be in a wheelchair or not. I also hope one day to live in the most inclusive world possible that sees people with and without disabilities living as one, who focus MORE on what we DO have in life, rather than what we don't have! We ALL came into this world with one title, human being, and whether we have a disability or not, that human being will always be there. - Scott Chesney

Thank you to all of the dads out there who are wonderful examples of real-life superheroes.

Happy Father's Day!
