Paralyzed Veterans of America launched AirAccess30.org.
The purpose of this website is to collect stories from PVA members and the disability community about their air travel experiences. Our endorsers include the Autistic Self Advocacy Network, Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law, Easter Seals, National Council on Independent Living, National Disability Rights Network, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and United Spinal Association.
PVA is working with the broader disability community to bring attention to the successes and failures in air travel for passengers with disabilities. Please share the site with your friends and family and share via social media with the hashtag #ACAA30. They will be using these stories to highlight progress and increase advocacy around the Air Carriers Access Act to improve air travel for all people with disabilities.
