New in the PRC Library…
Funding Guide for Children with Disabilities. By Tamara Simmons Triumph Press, 2015.
Simmons has written a much needed book on how to get free money for assistive technology (AT) for children with disabilities. The book is written for caregivers or parents of children who need technology but the fundraising techniques and resources may be applicable to adults with AT needs also. The book is a combination of a directory of AT suppliers as well as a resource for sample letters of medical necessity and ask letters.
A copy of this book can be checked out from the Paralysis Resource Center’s library.
Please see the online catalog and borrowing instructions.
