Your Role in Inclusion Theatre: The Guide to Integrating Actors with Disabilities and Non-Disabled in Your Theatre and Classes. By Deborah Emmy Nowinski, 2015.
The author is the founder of an inclusion theatre in Texas and outlines how to integrate performers with disabilities into acting classes and performing theatres. She integrates helpful hints and true stories of including actors with disabilities into performances. Topics covered include auditions, costuming people with disabilities, choreographing, formatting scripts so that people with various disabilities can access them, and developing one’s own inclusion theatre.
