We will be hosting the Fourth Annual Mikey Strong Charity Hockey Game on March 2nd!

Once again being hosted by WFAN and Prudential Center, and sponsored by M&M’s, former NHL all-stars and hockey legends from the NJ Devils, NY Rangers and NY Islanders will face off in a 4-period tournament in honor of Mike Nichols and to raise awareness around spinal cord research. General admission tickets are on sale now for $23 and selling fast!

In January 2014, Nichols sustained a spinal cord injury during a varsity hockey game when he was checked from behind, fracturing his C5 vertebrae.

Following the accident, the Monroe Township student received a flood of support from the hockey community, including the New Jersey Devils, as well as Boomer Esiason. Four years later, Nichols now pays forward his gratitude by serving as an ambassador for the Reeve Foundation to help speed the development of treatments for spinal cord injury.

Players this year include 1995 Stanley Cup Champions Bruce Driver and Jim Dowd, 2003 Stanley Cup Champion Grant Marshall, two-time Stanley Cup Champion Colin White, Randy Velischek and former Devils Captain Bryce Salvador.

Proceeds from the game will go to the Nichols Family Trust to provide for Mike’s medical and health needs, as well as the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.

Doors open at 6 pm. Hope to see you there. Game on!
