The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation Paralysis Resource Center (PRC) will be hosting the second part of its three-part webinar on government benefits as it pertains to individuals living with paralysis looking for Medicare SSI/SSDI coverage.

The session on May 22 will focus on how to find out what your social security record says about you and answer the questions: can you get SSDI/Medicare as well as SSI and Medicaid, and how do they interact? This webinar is free to attend, and the first session on SSI/Medicaid is available for viewing on the Reeve Foundation's YouTube page.

Following the SSDI/Medicare webinar, there will be a third installment on June 27 covering ABLE Accounts that will review the basics of this type of account and show you how to select the right plan for your needs.

Both sessions will be hosted by Mary Anne Ehlert, CFP®, a financial professional and sister to an individual with disabilities. She is highly regarded as a specialist in working with families of individuals with disabilities and the elderly and speaks to conferences and television audiences on financial planning.

The live webinars on May 22 and June 27 will be from 2 p.m.-3 p.m. EST. Registry for both of the webinars can be found on the Reeve Foundation’s events page.
