Learn about the safe strategies for pain medication at the Abilities Expo Boston

At the Abilities Expo Boston, September 13-15, the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation will be sponsoring a notable presentation from Jay Gupta focusing on “Understanding Pain Medication for individuals with spinal cord injuries." The workshop will take place on Saturday, September 14, at 1:00 PM. This session focuses on gaining a better understanding of pain medications and strategies for safe use. Research indicates that learning about pain medications can help in managing pain, preventing emergencies and overdoses and enhancing overall quality of life.
Jay Gupta is the Director of Pharmacy and Integrative Health at Harbor Homes in Nashua, NH, as well as a Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Specialist and Yoga Therapist. He is the co-founder of RxRelax, LLC and YogaCaps, Inc. where he focuses on chronic disease prevention and sustainable lifestyle change. Jay also received the Cardinal Health Generation Rx Champions Award for community-based drug abuse prevention and has received recognition from the National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA) for Excellence in Innovation.
