The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, in partnership with Give Beauty Wings, and Xandr will be hosting Finding my Superpower: Stories from the Disability Community on Thursday, May 23 from 6 pm-9 pm.

The evening, sponsored by Goldman Sachs, will spotlight seven speakers giving diverse and honest perspectives on disability, its unique challenges and finding its power. Storytellers will share a peek into their lives and the process of identifying and unleashing their potential and purpose. Two of the seven speakers include Reeve Foundation Board of Directors Vice Chairman, Henry Stifel and Team Reeve Alumni Justin Pines.

After our program of individual stories, all seven speakers will return onstage for an open forum discussion where audience members can ask questions and engage with the presenters. After the Q &A, attendees are welcome to network and spend time with our speakers. There will be light refreshments provided before the program, as well as beer and wine for purchase.

Tickets are $40 and will go towards support event production costs as well as our presenters.

“They say necessity is the mother of invention. It has been through my disability, and the constraints it would impose on my life, that I’ve worked to discover new depths in both my own abilities and the human connection in my life.”- Justin, Finding Your Superpower, Speaker

We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
