Sway 2018 a success

Another successful Christopher & Dana Reeve fundraiser was held at the Sway Nightclub last Saturday, January 27 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Although a slight setback due to the presence of Hurricane Irma in September delayed the event, over 200 attendees came to spend the evening. The afternoon hosts of 560 WQAM, Channing Crowder and Marc Hochman, did a terrific job of presenting while Inna Sense played fun, entertaining music all night, including a dedicated song, named “Rolling on” written by Prince Fox and sung by Kyle Reynolds, in honor of Alan T. Brown who hosted the event. All net proceeds from the song will be donated to the Reeve Foundation.

Throughout the night, guests also had the chance to win 37 various raffles that we graciously donated to the event. These raffles included vacation getaways to places all over the Caribbean, lifestyle gifts, restaurant certificates, and much more. The occasion was filled with great people, music, dancing, food, and raffle tickets that helped to raise over $50,000 towards care and cures for people with spinal cord injury.

Thank you to all of our supporters and attendees who made it another unforgettable event for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation!
