Welcome from Coach Mark

Hi Everyone... Coach Mark here for Team Reeve....Will you be joining us in October for the Team Reeve Run & Roll, a 5K (3.1 miles) for all? In the coming days and weeks, we will provide training advice for rollers, runners and walkers. Whether you are novice, intermediate or advanced, there are flexible programs designed just for you. With 8 weeks to go, more or less, it's time to get started...

Rollers (manual, motorized, push rim racing or hand cycle) should gradually increase your mileage until you can comfortably and safely do 3+ miles. As I am primarily a RUN/WALK coach, I will write general and specific advice to all who will participate on subjects such as training, safety, hydration, stretching, goal setting and fundraising. These disciplines should be mostly universal to all.

STEP 1.... Commit to joining us and sign up on the event website. Set a goal to get out there several days

each week.

STEP 2.... Look for future posts regarding prepping for this great event.

STEP 3.... Start thinking about fundraising. Recruit your friends.

In the meantime, please visit Hal Higdon's 5k Training website.

Hal is the world's foremost creator of training programs (run and walk) designed for all distances and abilities. No need to purchase the apps ... Just scroll down and review the program that works best

for you.

The inaugural Reeve Run & Roll virtual 5K will take place on October 17, 2020.

Register for your spot.
