Why did you become a peer mentor? I became a peer mentor in the hopes to be able to offer encouragement to someone else in a similar position. When my partner and I were first together, I spent many hours searching the internet for what it was like to be together with someone with a spinal cord injury. It would have been helpful in the beginning to have someone I could ask my questions to directly. I hope I can be that person for someone else. I look forward to meeting you!
