Why did you become a peer mentor? As a national disability advocate, I have found my passion in connecting people with disabilities to appropriate resources which enhances their quality of life. As a peer mentor, I hope to bring a unique perspective to the various issues of spinal cord injury. I know first hand as a mother, daughter, and a professional what complex situations this may entail.
