Why did you become a peer mentor? My primary reason for becoming a peer mentor is the simple fact that I felt I could impact others in a positive way. When my son was injured, I literally dropped to my knees and prayed. "Lord, this is beyond my abilities. We need you."God continues to guide us and strategically places the right persons in our path at the right times. Life is not easy.It takes more time and effort to do many things, but it helps to have a support system and know you are never alone.
