Giselle

Age: 42

Location: Maryland

Injury or relation:
Transverse Myelitis for 20 years

Hobbies/Interests:
Enjoy spending time with family and friends. Watching movies, shopping, church, singing in the choir, teaching and preaching, arts & crafts, meeting new people, crocheting (a real beginning), going out to eat and baking (when the mood hits). I love smiling and having fun. Trying new adventures. I love the summer months and water fun.

Why did you become a peer mentor?
I love people and I love to help out where I can. I wanted to pay it forward because I too know how it is for life to be changed in an instant. I wanted to help encourage and build up others because I feel like we are all in this together. A family away from a family knitted together in love. I just want to try to be a blessing to whomever I can.
