At the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, we are proud to be part of a powerful, connected community that is actively shaping what comes next.
In 2025, we saw progress in remarkable ways.
Through the collective strength of donors, supporters, endurance participants, advocates, peer mentors, researchers, and individuals living with paralysis, we are advancing a world in which spinal cord injury does not result in paralysis and paralysis does not result in diminished quality of life.
Together, this community supported more than 139,000 families with personalized guidance and resources, ensuring that no one faces paralysis alone.
At the same time, your generosity is accelerating what’s possible in research. Our latest grants, awarded jointly with Spinal Research in the UK, fund preclinical studies focused on developing new treatments for traumatic SCI that aim to bridge the gap between early discoveries and the studies needed for future regulatory review — helping move the science closer to human trials. Alongside this, the groundbreaking work of SCI Ventures, co-founded by the Reeve Foundation, is helping drive bold innovation forward.
