Q: What is the Reeve Summit?

A: 2026 marks 31 years since Christopher Reeve’s spinal cord injury, and the Reeve Summit, now in its sixth year, is an opportunity to bring together the community, key thought leaders, and individuals who’ve had an extraordinary impact on the lives of people with paralysis and related disabilities.


Q: This year’s Reeve Summit theme is Today’s Innovation, Tomorrow’s Impact. Why did we choose this theme?

A: Bold ideas drive meaningful change for people living with paralysis, and that progress is driven by community. Join us in Boston, MA, from May 6-8 at Reeve Summit 2026, where Care, Cure and Community Connect.

This premier gathering brings together individuals living with paralysis, caregivers, family members, healthcare providers, scientists, medical innovators, advocates and policymakers to imagine new solutions and accelerate transformative impact.

Q: When and where will the Summit take place?

A: The Reeve Summit will begin in the afternoon on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, and end early afternoon on Friday, May 8, 2026.

The venue for our event is the Sheraton Boston Hotel located at 39 Dalton St, Boston, MA 02199.


Q: How much does it cost to attend and how do I register for the Summit?

A: The Early Bird registration fee to attend the Summit is $140 for Attendees, and $180 for Attendees with Caregivers. The Early Bird price for Industry Professionals (think researchers, healthcare professionals, DME providers, etc.) is $240, or $280 with a caregiver. Early bird registration will end on Friday, February 20, 2026.

The regular registration fee to attend the Summit is $175 for Attendees, and $225 for Attendees with Caregivers. Industry professionals can register for $300, or $350 with a Caregiver.

Q: Are there scholarships available to attend the Summit?

A: The Administration for Community Living (ACL) has made it possible for the National Paralysis Resource Center (NPRC) to offer a limited number of scholarships to individuals living with paralysis and one caregiver traveling with each individual.

Each individual scholarship will cover full registration to the Summit. Registration includes all access to Summit sessions, keynote presentations, networking events, and receptions that will take place from May 6th to May 8th, 2026, at the Sheraton Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition, we will reimburse scholarship recipients up to $1,500 pending receipts for flights, mileage, and hotel.

Scholarship recipients are required to be present for the entirety of the Summit program.

Scholarships will be based on funding availability, as well as an assessment of mission-fit need. Preference will be given to first-time attendees of the Reeve Summit.

The deadline to apply for a scholarship is February 20, 2026.

Q: What should I do if I have difficulty registering?

A: If you have any questions or problems regarding your registration, please contact [email protected]. Please note that we do not take telephone registrations.


Q: Where should I stay?

A: The Reeve Summit official room block is conveniently located in the Summit hotel, Sheraton Boston, located at 39 Dalton St, Boston, MA 02199.

Please use our discounted room block link to book a standard room here. Please see below for information on how to request an ADA room. The deadline to book a room through our hotel block is Monday, April 13, 2026. Please note that all hotel room reservations are handled directly by the hotel.


Q: How do I request an ADA room?

A: The Sheraton Boston Hotel has set aside a number of ADA rooms within the Reeve Summit room block, available first-come, first-served. All rooms must be reserved with the hotel by April 13, 2026. Please request early to ensure your needs are met.

Attendees who need an ADA room should call the Sheraton’s Group Housing Team at (617) 236-6164 (calls answered 8am-5:30pm ET) and ask to speak to Ashley Smith or LaTarsha Whittaker. Q: What is the agenda?

A: Please refer to the Summit website for agenda updates. A final agenda will be available in Accelevents and posted on-site for attendees to reference.


Q: Can I get the presentation decks (slides) from the sessions?

A: You are welcome to reach out to speakers directly and ask for a copy of the slides if you wish.


Q: Can I get the contact information for a speaker?

A: If a speaker wishes to share their contact information with attendees, they will do so during their presentation.


Q: Will the Summit have virtual access options?

A: The Summit is a live, in-person event in Boston, MA.


Q: As an exhibitor, are any meals included?

A: Yes! Exhibitors receive one (1) full attendee registration and will have access to all meals, refreshments, activities, receptions, and attendee sessions.


Q: What if I have a disability or need accommodations?

A: We want to make sure that the Reeve Summit is an accessible event, if we haven’t addressed your question below, please email us at [email protected].

Travel and Transportation – The Summit will not be providing transportation or travel services. Local accessible transportation information is on the last page of this document.

ASL Interpreters and Closed Captioning – Sessions will have ASL Interpreters if requested in advance. All sessions will have Closed Captioning.

Food Allergies/Dietary Restrictions – Notify us of any allergies or restrictions during your Summit registration so we can make sure your needs are met to the best of our ability.

Fragrances – The Summit is not guaranteed to be a scent-free event space.

Noises and Lights – The Summit will be a lively event and will have frequent periods of noise and lights (no flashing lights or lasers); we encourage attendees to take breaks as needed and to please take care of yourselves.


Q: Is my service animal welcome?

A: Absolutely! Service animals are protected by federal law and as such may go wherever their handler goes. The most convenient relief area is at the front of the hotel, which has a mulch and plant area across from the main entrance, with a no-step pathway to get there. If you need a water bowl provided for your service animal, please reach out in advance.


Q: What is your mask and/or vaccine policy?

A: In accordance with CDC guidelines, we will not be requiring attendees to wear masks or provide proof of vaccination.

However, the Summit is a mask-friendly event, and we will have masks available at the registration desk and hand sanitizer stations. We encourage all attendees to participate in ways that make them feel safe.

Should local, state, or federal guidelines change prior to the Summit, we will be adhering to those policies and guidelines.


Q: What is the attire for the Summit?

A: Attire for the Reeve Summit is business casual. Please be comfortable and note that sometimes meeting rooms can be chilly, so we encourage you to bring extra layers.


Q: How do I obtain my badge and other conference materials?

A: Check-in at the registration desk when you arrive to receive your badge and other conference materials.


Q: Will I be photographed or videotaped?

A: The Reeve Foundation takes photos and videos at this event. By registering, you give the Reeve Foundation permission to use any photos or video taken at the conference in which you appear, as well as any written comments you submit on evaluation forms. Q: Is there local accessible transportation?

A: Boston offers a variety of accessible transportation options for travelers, including public transit, rideshare services, taxis, and accessible vehicle rentals.

The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA, also known as “The T”) has accessible services on buses, subways, rail, and ferries. Many stations and vehicles are equipped with ramps, lifts, priority seating, and mobility device access. Travelers may want to check accessibility alerts before traveling, as some stations may have temporary closures. We also recommend using The T trip planner tool, which allows you to build routes based on accessibility needs.

Q: Where can I park near the Summit?

A: Limited Valet parking is available at the Sheraton Boston Hotel for $70.00 per car, per day with in/out privileges ($92.00 for oversized vehicles based on space available). The Prudential Center Garage and Pilgrim Parking Garage self-parking garages are the most convenient parking facilities for the hotel. These garages are neither owned nor operated by the hotel and therefore availability of parking cannot be guaranteed. Parking rates quoted are the current rates and are subject to increase. Garage height clearance is six feet.

Q: What airports are nearby?

A: Boston Logan Airport (Airport Code: BOS) is located approximately 12 miles from the Summit hotel and is accessible via the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) transit system. You can plan a trip using their trip planner here.
