Spinal cord injury, C4, C5 for 5 years

Hobbies/Interests:
Traveling, live music, food & wine, yoga, meditation, preventative medicine, cinema

Why did you become a peer mentor?
I was a physical therapist before my accident, and with a tremendous amount of knowledge of healthcare and also being a yoga instructor vested in Eastern medicine tradition, becoming a quadriplegic was just another piece of the puzzle of my life story. I have a lot of knowledge to share and a lot of individuals living with paralysis that might need information they might
not get otherwise. I try to be a beacon of light and a source of positive
exploration within one’s own through traversing the challenges of paralysis.
