Stacey S.

Stacey S.

Age: 25

Location: Maryland

Injury or relation:
Spinal cord injury, C5 for 13 years

I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching movies and TV shows, going to concerts, adaptive sports, and spending time with my family and friends.

Why did you become a peer mentor?
I became a peer mentor because I wanted to use my own experiences living with paralysis to help others who are going through similar experiences that I went through. It has really helped me to have people to talk to and I would like to be there for others.
