Why did you become a peer mentor?
I really enjoy getting to know others faced with the challenges of dealing with spinal cord injuries. I was an active cyclist before my injury, and I’ve had to discover new ways to experience this activity. I’ve learned many things that have helped me deal with the many challenges of having a spinal cord injury. I would like to share what I’ve learned, and I also want to continue learning from others.
