Why did you become a peer mentor?
Going through such a big change brings emotions that come in waves—and I want to be someone who helps others ride those waves. I know what it’s like to navigate life in a new body and see the world through a different lens. Sometimes, you just need someone who understands—someone to talk to. I became a peer mentor to be that person. To listen, to support, and to remind others that they’re not alone.
