Why did you become a peer mentor?
I became a peer mentor to help encourage others and show that it’s not the end of the road but just another bend in the road. Though I’ve been in a chair for 48 years, I have been able to continue to work up to my retirement age (22yrs) as a Technology Director and enjoy all the outdoor activities I like to do. I would like to be able to help others by sharing the many things I’ve learned and be a sounding board to help get them past some of the tuff times that come along with being in a chair.
